This ample 2005 vintage from Champagne Corbon opens with notes of appealing biscuity flavours, toasted pumpkin seeds and sweet, juicy orchard fruits. Its rich palate just offers up layer upon layer. Finishes long and toasty but also fresh. An amazing wine from an exceptional vintage! Robin Kick MW says "Most of Agnès' wines are blends of her vines in the Grand Cru town of Avize with those in the Premier Cru parcels from the Vallée de la Marne. Except for her vintage Champagne, which is made only from Avize Chardonnay. Such a beautiful, succulent Champagne with toasted almonds and brioche but also candied citrus. Notable length."
