Pinot Noir by Casal Sta Maria
Casal Sta. Maria is located in the historic region of Colares, on the slopes of Sintra Hill, 2 km from Cabo da Roca the most Western point in Europe.
Hand picking, with careful selection of grapes in the vineyard and in the cellar. Pre-fermentative maceration and fermentation in small open mills with daily manual overtakes. Long postfermentative maceration (Cuvaison).
Color cherry black. Great aromatic richness, with notes of blackberries, strawberries and currant. From its stage in barrel and bottle, resulted in a complex bouquet of leather, spices, black truffles and a vanilla nothing.
