In the mouth Morgadio da Calçada red wine is enveloping and shows good concentration, showing firm tannins. The freshness is remarkable and the marked acidity, of very long end
Morgadio da Calçada is one of the 13 manor houses that tell the stories of the major Port wine producers of Provesende. Surrounded by terraces covered in vineyards and olive trees, the house takes us on a comfortable and refined journey back to the 17th century
After a rigorous selection process, fermentation took place in stainless steel vats, with destemmed grapes. The maceration took place for about 25 days
Fresh and elegant wine, very balanced and at the same time it's complex. In the mouth is marked by red fruits in the delicate aroma. The finish is lingering and fresh with light spicy notes. A good wine ready to drink
