Van Zellers VZ white wine produced by Cristiano van Zeller in the Douro region
Van Zellers & Co. was officially established in 1780 as an exporter of Port Wine for the first generation of Portuguese van Zelleres
All grapes are destorked before being slightly crushed by a pneumatic press and the resulting must decanted for 24 hour at 10°C in stainless steel vats. The must is then racked into new French oak barrels for 25 days at controlled temperatures (10°-14°C)
Fantastic concentration of fruit aromas. The fermentation and barrel stage bring a very elegant touch, with great balance and subtlety, and a very long, fruity and balanced finish with an impressive touch of acidity
