Mix of Gerbotte (50% planted 1984) and cooler, higher, steeper slopes (40+ years). 100% malolactic fermentation. 5% Pinot Beurot. Heady and rich and something California-like. Then fresh and tight and very youthful. Almost Condrieu on the nose and then very Côte d'Or on the palate. Jancis Robinson
