Celler del Pont was founded in 1998 by professor of oenology Montse Nadal and partners, some of whom are related to local grape growers. They work five hectares of vineyards and make just a single wine - Lo Givot - from traditional local varieties (Garnacha and Cariñena) planted on reddish and black slate (llicorella), as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
