This beautiful sparkling rośé is made from Pinot Noir or Spätburgunder as called in Germany, from Pfalz. Von Buhl’s Sekt Rosé is made with traditional methods, second fermentation in the bottle, like in Champagne. The grapes are picked by hand, de-stemmed and pressed so gently that only about 500ml of must per kilogram of grapes are achieved. It is fermented in stainless steel and wooden barrels, 13 months spent on lees gives the sparkling wine fine bubbles and delicate brioche notes. Great effort for such price and perfect for summer outdoor drinking or any parties and celebrations.
