Tindall Vineyard is a 22hectare estate in the Blenheim area, at the northern tip of the Marlborough region, on the north-eastern edge of New Zealand's South Island. Owned by Terry and Lynley Sowman and run by their two sons, Clyde and Nigel, the vineyard was named to honour Henry Tindall, grandfather of Clyde and Nigel. Tindall Vineyard is renowned for its premium Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir grapes, and produces a selection of classic New Zealand wines under the watchful eye of acclaimed winemaker, Dr. John Forrest.
Wonderful fragrance of ripe red cherries and berries, with a touch of spice. Good concentration of fruit and texture; oak-influence lingers on the finish to round out the flavours of the wine.
Good with rich, white-meat dishes, from chicken to rabbit and pork.
A bright, effusive and wonderfully reliable Pinot Noir from a region with a burgeoning reputation for quality red wines.
