The Remirez de Ganuza Reserva is the flagship of this famous, modern, top innovation Rioja winery. The Reserva spent 26 months in the barrel before bottling. The Reserva is produced from 85% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano and 5% Viura & Malvasia from the vineyards of more than 60 years old. The grapes are harvested by hand in 12-kilo boxes, which are cooled for 24 hours in cold rooms to 4-6 º C already after which only "loose hombros" or the shoulders (the upper part of the grape bunch) are used for his wine , because these are the most ripe grapes that have seen the most sun.
