A pure Rioja. Full wine with red fruit and a long finish with soft wood tones. Aged for 17 months in French (70%) and American (30%) oak. The Remelluri Reserva has a well-defined nose of blackberry leaf, mint, laurel and balsamic. The taste is medium-bodied with fine tannins, fresh acids and a nice, smoky finish with a hint of black pepper. This is a "serious" Rioja.
