This is the flagship of Fattoria Le Pupille called Saffredi. The vineyard for this top wine grows 250 meters above sea level and is very small, 5 Hectares. After the manual harvest, the wine matures for 18 months in oak wooden barrels of which 75% is new barrel. This gives him a lot of tannins and a delicious structure, what a beast of a wine!
