This completely new project is the dream of Oscar Allegre, the former export manager of Alvaro Palacios, and his wife. It is more than a wine domain: they also operate a fantastic hotel with a slow food restaurant. Oscar shares our concern to offer characterful, tasteful wines at a fair price. The bottom of the domain consists of red soil with many smooth boulders, alluvial deposits from the tertiary.
The El Conjuro is the top model of Los Arandinos that makes very affordable class wines. In the glass, the wine has a beautiful cherry-red color with notes of red fruits mixed with creamy oak, tobacco and coffee. Complex, mineral-rich wine with intense aromas from the Tempranillo grape (wine is made from 85% Tempranillo and 15% Garnacha). The taste is elegant, structured and soft with ripe tannins. Fruity and expressive aftertaste. The taste follows the line of the rest of red wines from Arandinos which is based on the modern principles of wine making so no predominant wood and a nice fresh acidity.
