Paul Cluver is a household name with all his wines and is a great master in white wines such as Chardonnay (who doesn't know the Seven Flags), Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling and of course the beautiful almost Burgundy-like Pinot Noir. This riesling of a cool climate (looks like a German or Austrian rieslng) is beautiful fresh riesling. In the nose, the Cluver Dry Encounter riesling is called beautiful notes of ripe green apple, blossom and honey. The ripe acids stand out in the mouth, light minerality and a nice balance in the aftertaste.
