Bernabeleva Navaherreros Tinto
The Navaherreros Tinto is an amazing wine full of Granache grapes from vines between 50 and 90 years. After the manual harvest, the grapes are cooled for 24 hours to promote pre-fermentative soaking. Next, vinification takes place in wooden or concrete tanks, and fermentation takes place at low temperatures. The Navaherreros Tinto receives approximately 11 months upbringing in French oak barrels and then 6 months in stainless steel tanks for natural stabilization before bottling can take place.
The Bernabeleva Navaherreros Tinto tastes rich, powerful and intense with a bouquet of ripe cherries and raspberries with lavender accents. Slightly sweet and rounded off with a delight of fleshy and ripe red fruit, peppered with orange peel and a hint of white pepper. The intense taste of the delicious Navaherreros Tinto combines very well with roasted and grilled meat. Is this Pinot Noir or is this Grenache. Experience this very beautiful and complex wine that is unique in its kind.
Bernabeleva Navaherreros, an almost impossible name to pronounce flawlessly in one go. But two wines that you will not soon forget! Navaherreros Blanco makes an unforgettable impression from the very first moment: made from grapes from up to 100 (!) Year old canes. Pretty balanced material with an impressive freshness. The best Rhône producers can be jealous of this. The red version offers so much of what we know about large Burgundy wines and Rhône wines, that the price can be considered a wonderful gift.
Bernabeleva winery
Under the leadership of Marc Isart and Raul Perez, this young winery Bernabeleva has been very close to the road with the small high altitude and already very old Grenache vineyard. It is definitely a beautifully situated vineyard of more than 85 years. The vineyard is located on deep sandy soils on granite and in a "cool" location at an altitude of 700/800 meters. The vineyard is processed ecologically and natural compost is used, supplied by our own herd. In conversion to biodynamic viticulture. 85 year old sticks (!).
