As the importer of Remirez de Ganuza, we have the honor to be able to offer this highly sought-after white wine to our Dutch and Belgian customers. The Remirez Blanco consists of 70% Viura and 30% Malvasia from sticks between 60 and 80 years old. The wine is barrel-fermented and is raised for 12 months in new French oak. The wine is raised surly and the barrels are rotated a quarter turn every 7 days. This is an absolute top white wine with a particularly striking acidity and minerality. In the nose we smell granny smit apple, white flowers, citrus fruit, very nicely intertwined oaks and a bit of apricot very far away. The taste is very nice. Filling the mouth, fresh, lemon zest, gravely and salivating by the beautiful bitterness and very beautifully interwoven oak. This is a very stylish, elegant modern rioja wine with a great finish. This wine has a nice drinking window from 2019-2027. Serve fresh, best to decant in his younger years.
