A highly prestigious Barolo both austere & complex. Deep garnet-red in colour. Delicately spiced bouquet (notes of eucalyptus, liquorice & cinnamon), mature fruit (cherries in liqueur, blackberries and prunes) and hints of violets and medicinal herbs. Powerful on the palate with a light acidity, fresh with a long finish.
