Balfour Brut Rosé, "England's most exclusive pink fizz", is produced from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grown exclusively on Hush Heath Estate. It is a multi-award winning vintage English Quality Sparkling Wine crafted using the Traditional Method made famous in Champagne. Production of magnums is limited to only a few hundred bottles each year, and each is numbered and signed by our winemaker. Fruit is hand harvested and gently pressed in our state-of-the-art winery and then it is fermented in cool, stainless steel tanks. The wine spends a minimum of 24 months on lees and is disgorged to order to maintain freshness. Grape Varieties: 38% Pinot Noir, 56% Chardonnay, 6% Pinot Meunier Alcohol: 12% Tasting Notes Appearance: Pale salmon pink, with a fine bead and a sustained mousse. Nose: Very clean with notes of rosehip, red berry, herbs and pencil shavings. Palate: Intensely vinous with nicely restrained acidity. The palate is bursting with redcurrant and sloe fruits and has a wonderfully long finish. Ageing Potential: Will develop beautifully in bottle.
