This 45 year old vineyard was the very first to produce a single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County. Perched high upon a hill in the south of Alexander Valley, this 63 acre site is located in the first part of the valley to feel cool Pacific breezes each afternoon.   100% Cabernet Sauvignon matured for 21 months in French oak. An intense, ripe and proudly Californian expression of the varietal which is found in some of the most serious wines in the world – this offers big bold notes of cassis and black cherry with hints of dried herbs and cocoa.
