Sonnet is his négociant wine, from grapes provided by growers with whom Dr Heger has been working for over 30 years. Stainless-steel fermentation and then into big wooden casks. Lychees and a bit of tang. Fun and light and playful. (Tamlyn Currin JancisRobinson.com)
Description:Round, easily accessible, and appealing but by no means obtrusive bouquet with a fresh aroma of yellow and white fruits. Vibrant and charming, virtually Mediterranean stylish in the best Pinot-Grigio-like manner. Fruity on the palate and equipped with a fine raciness and a fresh citrus finish.
Food recommendation:
A good partner along with fish or poultry dishes. Also a very good choice with various cheeses and pasta.
