Made in mostly used barrels with a little bit of new oak. RS 0.8 g/l. Not much on the nose. Full bodied and herbal, with a plump mid palate of ripe apples and nectarines despite mouthwatering acidity. Lychees on a razor blade! (Tamlyn Currin JancisRobinson.com)
Description:On the nose, a nutty presence with a bouquet of plums, ripe pears, fresh grapes, lemon curd, white almonds and a hint of vanilla. Juicy, but not too overwhelming. A mineral base with layers of fruit such as white apples and melon with a hint of candied citrus fruit. Dense integrated acidity, subtly animating right through to finish.
Food recommendation: Fabulous with fried or grilled fish, mediteraien cuisine and pasta dishes. It also works well with mild cheeses, salty biscuits, cheese sticks or tapas.
Alcohol: 13,0% vol.
Res. sugar: 0,1 g/l
Acidity: 5,7 g/l
