Work your way through a selection of Classic French wines from a variety of wine regions and vineyards. These wines have been hand picked from some of our favourite growers and these wines are ideal for every day drinking, or even for a dinner party.

In the case: 1 bottle x each of the following:

Chateau Puech Haut Prestige Rose 2018

Region: Languedoc
Grape Varietals: 60% Grenache, 40% Cinsault

Notes: Pretty, vibrant notes of white peach, white flowers, and salty minerality all emerge from the 2018 Prestige Rosé. Made in a crisp, elegant style, it stays balanced and layered on the palate, and is going to be an incredibly versatile rosé to drink over the coming 6-12 months.

Brunel de La Gardine Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc 2018

Region: Southern Rhône
Grape Varietals: 30% Rousanne, 20% Clairette, 20% Viognier, 20% Grenache Blanc, 10% Bourboulanc

Notes: A spectacular looking bottle that delivers before you pop the cork. Bright pale yellow in colour with a very citrusy nose of lemon and grapefruit. This wine has a fresh and mineral palate if you close your eyes you could be conned into thinking this was a more expensive white Chateauneuf!

Macon Lugny Domaine Rochebin 2018

Region: Burgundy
Grape Varietals: 100% Chardonnay

Notes: This extraordinary Chardonnay has been fermented and matured in concrete tanks to preserve the natural peach, apple and pear aromas. An indulgent and extremely fresh wine which is soft yet rich on the palate. Flavours of peach and melon blend together to provide a well-rounded taste. A fresh acidity adds to the rounded of the palate. The floral and citrus aromas combine with a hint of butter on the finish to enhance this delicious wine.

Brunel de La Gardine Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge 2017

Region: Southern Rhône
Grape Varietals: 65% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre

Notes: Garnet red in colour with a bright violet rim. A nose that is typical of the region red fruit, earthy notes and sweet spice. Juicy, supple and balanced on the palate a wine that will certainly please all crowds.

Chateau La Tuilerie du Puy Bordeaux Superior Tradition 2015

Region: Entre-Deux-Mers / Bordeaux
Grape Varietals: 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc

Notes: 2014 is a classic year from Bordeaux and we believe this is the best drinking claret we have had from them. The colour is deep red with hints of cherry. Expressive nose offering notes of cherry, blackberry and cassis.

Clos Baste Madiran Tradition 2011

Region: Madiran / South West France
Grape Varietals: 100% Tannat

Notes: Clos Baste makes traditional style Tannat wines, with dark smoky fruit, heavy and dense in texture, tannic underpinning and some rusticity showing through. Perhaps a touch smoky, with dried cherry, its more massive and monolithic character would suit most meat or game dishes.
