Bravo!" - Robert Parker. Château Branaire-Ducru, Fourth Classified Growth from Saint-Julien, has seen heavy investments since Patrick Maroteaux took over in 1988 - new plantings, new cuvier and an ultra-modern chai. The 2011 vintage is a great success, just entering it's drinking window.  Nose of red fruit jam, chocolate and cedar. Powerful and complex palate with aromas or ripe fruit, cocoa and charcoal. Velvety tannins and persistent finish. Everything we love in a great St-Julien. High Class!
